Using Custom Gas Vaults in Gas Station – Auto-Fuel Issue & Tron Support

Hi Fireblocks team & community,

I’m currently testing in Sandbox using the account registered under:
dung.nguyen.trung+1@cozuchi.com

I ran into a few issues and questions:

1. Auto-Fuel Not Working with Custom Gas Vaults

I created 3 separate vaults specifically for gas fees and replaced all addresses in the Gas Station setting with these custom vaults (instead of the default gas station addresses).

After this change, the Auto-Fuel feature stopped working.
Previously, it worked fine when I used the default gas station addresses provided by Fireblocks.

Am I allowed to use my own custom vaults as Gas Station wallets in both Sandbox and Production?
If yes, what is the correct procedure to make Auto-Fuel work with them?

2. Tron Support in Gas Station

I noticed that in the default gas station settings, Tron is not listed (I also know that Gas station only support EVM-base network) - Just want to confirm if have anything new

Does Production currently support Tron for gas station auto-fueling?
If not, is it planned or is there any alternative workaround?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

To answer your query 1, Auto-Fuel Not Working with Custom Gas Vaults

  • On the sandbox, gas station v1 is only supported, where you cannot set a custom vault accout to pay your transaction gas fee.
  • For the mainnet workspace, you can migrate with Gas Station V2, where you can designate one of your workspace vault accounts to be a gas station vault, from which the other vaults will be auto-fueled while the threshold is met.
