How do I access the testnet environment?

I recently signed up for the sandbox environment and am trying to test out an application on ZKsync Era testnet. I’ve connected via walletconnect option, but when I try to connect to the testnet (chain ID 300) it says it already exists and won’t let me continue. What am I missing here?

Hi Bxpana,

You are not missing anything, zkSync Era Sepolia is already supported in your sandbox.

I believe you are using the zkSync dapp https://portal.zksync.io to connect with your Fireblocks vault using Wallet_Connect. Could you share a screenshot of the page where it says chain already exists?

Yep exactly. ZKsync Bridge | Transfer funds between ZKsync and Ethereum is asking me to change network to ZKsync Era Sepolia. After I click the button to switch it gives me the popup in the fireblocks extension to add ZKsync Era Sepolia. When I select Add it tells me it already exists and there is no other option to ignore or skip.

Hi Bxpana,

Sorry for the delay.

This usually means that the chain has already been added in your Fireblocks workspace. You do not need to add it again. Some dApps also default to Mainnet, you may need to manually switch networks (with testnet) first before connecting.

Manually switch to zksync Era Sepholia:

  • Instead of hitting Add, open your Fireblocks Extension → network selector → select ZKsync Era Sepolia manually.
  • Then reload the bridge page. It should detect that you are already on the correct network and proceed.

In your Fireblocks extension, check for any duplicate entries with similar RPCs already. Keep only one and ensure the RPC is valid (https://sepolia.era.zksync.dev).

Disconnect your Web3 session from both the ZKsync Bridge and the Fireblocks Console (Web3 Access / Network tab). Then manually switch to ZKsync Era Sepolia before clicking “Connect.”

Where is the option for network selector on the Fireblocks extension? In the “More” option I see that there are 50 chains supported, but when I open it there are only 9 chains that show and I’m not able to click any of them. I am able to disconnect, reconnect, and select ZKsync Era but only mainnet I don’t see an option for testnet. So it will let me do something on the mainnet ZKsync Era bridge, but not testnet.

I tested this on Unichain too to make sure it wasn’t specific to the ZKsync Era bridge, but I am not able to connect to Uniswap on Unichain testnet either.

What else can I try?

@Rajalakshmi any updates?
