# Error creating address for asset on optimism network

Hi, when i try to create an address for asset on optimism network, i’ve this error:

“message”: “Creating addresses for the provided asset is not supported”,  
“code”: 1010

Hi @dairoportillo, adding multiple deposit addresses for a vault account wallet is only available for UTXO based assets. Can you confirm if there is already an ETH address in vault 0?

There is a permanent address.

If i want to generate multiple deposit addresses, should i generate multiple vaul accounts?

Yes you can generate multiple vaults in order to get multiple deposit addresses
